Statement on processing and protection of personal data by Technotrade s.r.o.

On this page, we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data carried out by our company. The protection of your privacy and personal data is one of our priorities. We consider this data confidential and treat it accordingly. We emphasize security in processing, careful selection of contractual partners who have access to your personal data, and strict adherence to all rules to which we are bound.

We process your personal data in accordance with legal regulations concerning the protection of personal data. The same applies to our employees and other persons who cooperate with us. This is primarily the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) No. 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, in effect from 25 May 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the "EU Regulation"), and further the Act on the Processing of Personal Data No. 101/2000, as amended.

This information does not relate to personal data of legal entities including the name, legal form and contact details of the legal entity.

In the following document, you will find information about the way, scope, purpose, legal basis and duration of the processing of your personal data.

Personal Data Administrators

The company Technotrade, spol. s r. o., with the registration number 14615355, located at Hálkova 33, 772 00 Olomouc, registered with the Regional Court in Ostrava, section C, file 446, (hereinafter referred to as "the company") is the administrator of your personal data. For this reason, the company provides you with further information regarding the processing of your personal data.

The company also informs that it has not appointed a Data Protection Officer in accordance with Article 37 and following of the Regulation.

What personal data do we process and in what situations?

1) Information processed based on your consent

Based on your express consent, we process your personal information in the following cases:

a) Sending newsletters and other commercial messages, if you are not our customer

  • Scope of personal information: e-mail address
  • Legal basis: Your consent
  • Purpose: commercial communication

If you sign up for our newsletter or other electronic commercial messages, we will only process your data for the purpose of sending our electronic commercial messages.

b) Creation and management of customer account

  • Scope of personal information: name and surname, billing address, delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number, business history
  • Legal basis: Your consent
  • Purpose: providing customer account services

By creating a customer account, your personal information will be stored in our customer database. You can log into your customer account at any time through our website eshop.technotrade.cz and view your order history or update your personal information and password.

If you checked the box "I want to receive promotional offers, special deals and product news in my e-mail" during registration, you may receive commercial messages from our company from that moment on. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you can either unsubscribe: a) by email sent to the email address eshop@technotrade.cz; or b) by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in each commercial message and serving this purpose.

c) Sending an inquiry form

  • Scope of personal information: name and surname, email
  • Legal basis: Your consent
  • Purpose: answering questions about the relevant product

If you send an inquiry form on the eshop.technotrade.cz website for a product that is currently out of stock, we will only process your data for the purpose of responding to your inquiry about the product.

2) Data processed without your consent

We may process your personal data without your consent in the following cases based on the legal titles mentioned and for the specified purposes:

a) Visiting the webshop.technotrade.cz website

  • Scope of personal data: date and time of access, URL (address) of the referring website, displayed file, amount of data sent, type of browser and its version, operating system, IP address
  • Legal title: our company's legitimate interest (consisting of supporting our business activities and ensuring the operation of our websites)
  • Purpose: statistical purposes, geolocation, web analysis for optimization

When you access our website, your browser automatically sends your above-mentioned data to our server, which is necessary to create an internet connection with our website.

Our websites store the cookies files in accordance with legal regulations on the device through which you connect to these websites. You can find more information about cookies in the section "What about cookies?"

Geolocation enables us to technically limit the location of an internet user based on their IP address. IP addresses are not stored for geolocation purposes after the end of use.

b) Performance of a contract entered into via the e-shop/website, including resolution of any complaints

  • Scope of personal data: name and surname, address, email address, telephone number, billing address and VAT number, if applicable payment details, details of your orders (in the case of a price guarantee agreement)
  • Legal title: performance of the contract or measures taken before the conclusion of the contract at your request, fulfillment of a legal obligation
  • Purpose: fulfillment of the contractual obligation (e.g. purchase, price guarantee agreement, etc.) including related business and financial communication (including trade insurance)

We process your personal data after you enter it into our website's input field or send it to us by email.

c) Sending newsletters and other business communications, if you are our customer

  • Scope of personal data: name and surname, email address
  • Legal title: consent
  • Purpose: sending commercial communications and news from our company

If you are our customer, in accordance with Recital 47 of the EU Regulation, we can process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, specifically for the purpose of sending our company's commercial messages. We will end this processing as soon as you indicate that you no longer wish to receive these commercial messages. You can do this either: a) by sending an email message to the address eshop@technotrade.cz; or b) by clicking on the unsubscribe link for commercial messages included in every commercial message sent and serving this purpose.

d) Processing of messages sent through the online chat tool Smartsupp

  • Scope of personal data: name and surname, email address, possibly address or phone number
  • Legal title: performance of contract or measures taken before the conclusion of the contract taken at your request (in case you are our customer or become our customer subsequently), legitimate interest (in other cases)
  • Purpose: communication with customers or interested parties about goods we offer

The data you enter into the contact form will be processed solely for the purpose of communication with you and a response to your message, and for the period indicated in the section "How long are your personal data stored with us?"

e) Cooperation with public authorities

  • Scope of personal data: various depending on the specific request of the public authority
  • Legal title: fulfillment of a legal obligation
  • Purpose: various depending on the specific request of the public authority

f) Accounting

  • Scope of personal data: invoicing data (name and surname, billing address, VAT and VAT ID)
  • Legal title: fulfillment of a legal obligation
  • Purpose: accounting evidence

g) Debt collection from customers

  • Scope of personal data: all data related to the contractual obligation between our company and our customers in arrears
  • Legal title: legitimate interest of our company (consisting of our claim for payment of debt)
  • Purpose: Personal data of those customers who are in arrears with the payment of our claims and who, despite our calls, refuse to fulfill their contractual obligations towards our company in a proper and timely manner, are processed in order to enforce our debt claims.

h) Customer service line

  • Scope of personal data: data you provide us with, or data about the order you wish to resolve through the customer service line
  • Legal title: depending on the nature of your inquiry
  • Purpose: sales support - customer service line can be contacted by phone, email or through the web interface.

What are the sources of the personal data that we process?

The personal data that we process for the purposes described in the section "What personal data about you do we process and in what situations?" comes from the following sources:
a) data you have provided directly to us, for example in connection with the conclusion of a contract or in the context of consent to the processing of personal data; or
b) in selected justified cases, we obtain data from public sources, lists, and registers, such as the commercial register, the trade register, the insolvency register.

Who is the recipient of the personal data that we process as the controller?

We only share your personal data in justified cases and to the extent necessary with the following categories of recipients:

a) Transfer for the purpose of fulfilling the contract (delivery of goods, transport)
If it is necessary to perform the contract with you, we will also entrust other companies and individuals with tasks for our company. In the course of the complaint procedure, your data may be passed on to the supplier of the goods, who is obliged to comment on the complaint. The data will not be transferred to third countries. For delivery of the goods you ordered, your data may be made available to shipping companies. In some cases, for goods ordered via an e-shop, it is possible to track the shipment, allowing you to check the status of your shipment at any time. Shipment tracking is provided for us by an external service provider. The service providers listed above will only receive access to such personal data as is necessary to perform their respective activities. These service providers are prohibited from using your personal information for other purposes. If required by law, agreements on the protection of your personal data are concluded with these service providers. Similarly, if you order delivery of the goods you have purchased at our store, we will provide the relevant carriers with whom we cooperate with your personal data necessary to realize the ordered delivery. Our company does not intend to transfer your personal data in connection with the above to a third country (to a country outside the EU) or to an international organization.

b) Transfer for the purpose of payment
We transfer your payment data within the framework of payment processing when purchasing from our e-shop to the relevant financial institution or relevant payment service provider. Our company does not intend to transfer your personal data in connection with the above to a third country (to a country outside the EU) or to an international organization.

c) Transfer to information system or data storage providers
In our business activities, we use several information systems that enable or facilitate the management of the transactions we carry out, accounting, etc. We use the services of data storage for the storage of data from these systems or other electronic data. Operators of the above systems and data storage thus have access to the data that we manage in this way, but these persons are not authorized to deal with these data otherwise. If it is legally necessary, agreements on the protection of your personal data are concluded with these persons. Our company does not intend to transfer your personal data in connection with the above to a third country (to a country outside the EU) or to an international organization.

d) Transfer for the purpose of sending electronic business messages
Electronic business messages are sent by our employees using software from an external provider, which as its operator has access to the data processed in this software, but has no right to deal with this data in any way. Our company does not intend to transfer your personal data in connection with the above to a third country (to a country outside the EU) or to an international organization.

e) Transfer to public authorities (e.g. on the basis of a court order)
We are legally obliged to provide information on the processed personal data in individual cases as part of cooperation with the relevant public authorities, for example, if necessary for criminal prosecution.

f) Web analysis
In order to be able to continually improve our website and services, we use web analysis services from third-party providers. These providers may have access to data processed by us, but are not authorized to deal with this data otherwise. Our company does not intend to transfer your personal data in connection with the above to a third country (to a country outside the EU) or to an international organization.

Google
Google Adwords Conversion Tracking uses cookies that allow for website usage analysis. Google will use this information to evaluate your website usage, to create reports about website activities for website operators, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage. By using this website, you agree to allow Google Inc, located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to process your data in the manner and for the purpose described above. Sklik/Seznam a.s.
Our website also uses conversion measurement technology from Sklik, operated by Seznam a.s. This conversion measurement allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing investments and is not associated with the transfer of personal data to Seznam a.s. We only provide Seznam with the identifier of the purchased item.

g) Transfer for the purpose of enforcing our debt claims
If you are in default with the fulfillment of your contractual obligations towards us and do not respond to our calls for proper fulfillment, we may transfer your personal data to a company that provides debt collection services for our Company. Our company does not intend to transfer your personal data in connection with the above to a third country (outside the EU) or an international organization.

Plugins
Regarding so-called social plugins, in order to protect your privacy during your visit to our website, our website does not use social plugins from social network providers. We have only incorporated graphic links to social network providers (e.g. www.facebook.com) into our website. Your browser does not have the ability to create a direct connection to the server of social network providers. However, our company does not assume responsibility for the protection of personal data and processes of the pages to which these links refer.

Website Visit Records
Through the Smartsupp tool, we record the movement of visitors on the https://eshop.technotrade.cz website. The record is made exclusively for the purpose of monitoring website visits and in the scope: video record of cursor movement, length of visit, approximate user geographic location, device used, operating system and browser. No personal data is collected as part of the website visit record, all records are anonymized.

Embedded Content from Other Websites
Posts on these pages may contain embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited another website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking from third parties, and track your interaction with this embedded content, including tracking interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to the website.

How long are your personal data stored with us?

Your personal data is usually stored with us for the duration of our mutual contractual relationship and then for the duration of the limitation period of any of our or your related claims. However, if your personal data is processed based on your consent, your personal data is stored with us for the longest period for which you have given us consent, i.e. usually for a period of 5 years from the date of consent or until you withdraw your consent if you withdraw it before the expiration of this period.

In cases where a binding legal regulation requires us to do so, we archive documents containing your personal data for the prescribed period.

Records from customer support lines are stored based on the content of the phone call/email for a period of 3 years (in case of messages concerning damaged or incomplete goods, taking into account the statute of limitations and any related claims), for a period of 1 year (in case of messages concerning, in particular, the behavior of our employees, requests for information to be sent, return of goods, (price) guarantees, incorrect payments, services, new orders, order delivery, logistics), or for a period of 4 weeks (for other messages) from the receipt of your request.

What are your rights when processing your personal data and where can you enforce them?

If it comes to your personal data, you have the following rights related to us:

1) Right of access
You can request access to the personal data that we process about you. As the controller of your personal data, we will provide you with a copy of your processed personal data.

2) Right to correction
You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data that we process about you.

3) Right to erasure
You can request that we delete your personal data if any of the following situations occur:
a) the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;
b) you have withdrawn your consent on which the processing of your personal data was based, and there is no other legal reason for such processing;
c) you have objected to being the subject of a decision based on automated processing of your personal data, and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for such processing or you have objected to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing;
d) your personal data has been processed illegally;
e) your personal data must be deleted to fulfill a legal obligation under European Union or Member State law to which we as a controller are subject;
f) your personal data was collected in connection with the provision of information society services.

4) Right to restrict processing
You can request us to restrict the processing of your personal data if any of the following occurs:
a) You have disputed the accuracy of your personal data, and this is for the time necessary to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
b) Processing of your personal data is illegal, but you refuse to have this data deleted and instead request that its use be restricted;
c) Our company no longer needs the personal data for processing purposes, but you require it for the purpose of determining, exercising or defending legal claims;
d) You have raised an objection to the processing of your personal data under Article 21(1) of the EU Regulation, until it is determined whether our company's legitimate reasons outweigh your legitimate reasons.www.uoou.cz

5) Right to data portability
In cases of processing based on consent or contract and processed automatically, you have the right to obtain the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us as the controller, and to transfer these data to another controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, provided that this right does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

6) Right to withdraw consent
If the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose for which you granted us consent at any time, with future effect. 7) Right to object
You can object to our processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest and for the purpose of direct marketing based on our legitimate interest at any time.

8) Right to file a complaint
You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, which in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection, located at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, website: www.uoou.cz.

Exercising your above-mentioned rights is free of charge, unless otherwise provided by law.

Is your consent to the processing of personal data voluntary or mandatory?

Any consent specified in the section What personal data do we process and in what situations? is completely voluntary and free. Granting consent to the processing of your personal data is not a condition for obtaining any goods offered by our company.

Can the granted consent to the processing of personal data be revoked? If so, how/where?

Any consent granted by you to us, specified in the section What personal data do we process and in what situations?, can be revoked at any time with future effects. Consent to the processing of your personal data in connection with the sending of commercial communications and the creation of a customer account can be revoked by sending a revocation of consent to the email address eshop@technotrade.cz. You can also revoke consent to receive commercial communications by clicking on the link to unsubscribe from commercial communications, which is contained in every sent commercial communication and serves this purpose.

How can you defend yourself against direct marketing carried out without your consent?

Against such processing of your personal data, you have the right to raise an objection free of charge at any time.

What does our company do for the security of your personal data?

Our website and other computer systems are secured by technical and organizational measures against access, changes and processing of your personal data by unauthorized persons, as well as against their loss and destruction.

You should always treat your login information as confidential. That's why we recommend closing your browser window completely after you've finished browsing our website. An additional security feature is used for payments made with credit cards, the so-called card verification code is requested when ordering. We place the utmost importance on the security of our platform and intensively address issues of data security. If you come across any possible security gaps, please let us know as soon as possible at our email address eshop@technotrade.cz, and please send us the most detailed specification of the potential issue, the exact URL, and a description of how you encountered the vissue (ideally including a screenshot, etc.). What about "cookies"?

Our website uses "cookies". A cookie is a short text file that the visited website sends to the browser. The "cookies" files allow the website to record information about your visit, such as your preferred language and other settings. We mainly use so-called session cookies (freely translated: cookies limited to one visit). Session cookies are deleted immediately after you leave our website. Cookies are not harmful to your device or its software. As a user, you can turn off or limit the use of cookies in your browser.

In order to optimize our website for visitors, we also use the Google Analytics service provided by Google, Inc.

The Google Analytics service uses cookies to analyze the way our websites are used. Information generated by the cookie file about the website usage (including your IP address) will be transmitted and stored on Google, Inc.'s servers. All data thus obtained will be processed anonymously. The data is intended exclusively for evaluating website usage. Anonymity is guaranteed by the fact that Google, Inc. will not associate your IP address with any other data that it has available. Google, Inc. will not receive any personal information such as email, name, or phone number.

You can reject the use of cookies, which will prevent the collection of data about you. You can do this by choosing in your browser settings. However, we warn you that if you deactivate the installation of cookies, you may not be able to use all the features of our websites.
