Product description
Curtis 1239E motor controller provides energy efficient control of asynchronous AC induction motors performing on-vehicle traction drive duties. It offers vehicle developers a highly costeffective combination of power, performance and functionality.
Intended for electric and hybrid vehicles using 60–144V nominal system voltage for high power circuits, and a 12V chassis-grounded system for low-power control circuits. Software upgrade allows use with surface permanent magnet synchronous motors. Please contact us for more information regarding this option.
Curtis motor controllers can be programmed using the Curtis Integrated Toolkit software and CAN-bus converter. We can program the controller for your specific application (additional fees apply).
MAIN FEATURES
- Easily programmable for traction applications powered by AC induction motor
- Isolated logic section allows all control I/O to run off the vehicle’s auxiliary 12V supply
- Rugged sealed housing with compact dimensions and IP65 protection
- Compatibility with CANopen and easy integration with CAN-bus components
- Dual microprocessor architecture ensures the highest functional safety performance level
