At the beginning of 2023, Comer Industries, a global leader in the design and production of advanced engineering systems and mechatronic solutions for power transmission, completed the acquisition of Benevelli, the Italian manufacturer of electric powertrains and one of our long-term valued partners. In this context, the company name has also changed – the products previously manufactured under the Benevelli brand will now belong to the portfolio of the newly established e-comer brand.

The e-comer division has been set up as a separate company for the purposes of the acquisition, and focuses on the development and production of electric motors and transmissions for battery powered vehicles. This transaction is a part of the Comer Industries‘ long-term strategy to expand its operations into the rapidly growing segment of electric motors, wheel drives, transaxles and products for machinery electrification, which allows the company to further strengthen its leadership position in the market.

As far as our customers are concerned, we would like to confirm that the change in ownership structure and manufacturer’s name does not imply any significant change in the portfolio of products previously offered under Benevelli brand. Our longstanding partnership with Benevelli has smoothly transformed into the partnership with e-comer, whose product portfolio is identical to the original manufacturer.

That means that we can continue supplying first-class innovative products and systems for electric and hybrid drives.
